Craigengillan Estate - Camusfearna, Dalmellington

Camusfearna is a self-catering lodge on the Craigengillan Estate near Dalmellington in East Ayrshire, Scotland. This is a working estate covering over 1,700 acres of woodland, moorland and loch-side landscape in the Galloway Hills. The estate sits within the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere Reserve one of Scotland's most ecologically significant landscapes.

The estate borders the Dark Sky Park at Galloway Forest. Stargazing here is exceptional. The surrounding hills offer walking, wildlife watching and cycling. Red kites, red squirrels and otters have all been recorded on and around the estate. Loch Doon is minutes away.
